STOP & SHOP PRESENTS $50,000 TO NEW HAMPSHIRE SCHOOLS

Quincy, MA (June 1, 2006) - The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company has presented $50,000 in grants among 125 New Hampshire schools that benefited from the company's 2005-2006 A+ BonusBucks program. These grants can fulfill school needs including the purchase of new classroom educational technology, library aids, musical instruments, and can also fund field trips and school sports programs.

Stop & Shop's A+ BonusBucks school program ran from October 2, 2005 to April 1, 2006. The program provided opportunities for Stop & Shop customers to assist local schools by making purchases with their Stop & Shop Card. Schools then received points or "BonusBucks" for every consumer dollar spent using the Stop & Shop Card. Customers designated schools to receive their A+ BonusBucks points from their card purchases.
