STOP & SHOP GEARS UP FOR A+ BONUSBUCKS PROGRAM
Quincy, MA (September 30, 2005) - Stop & Shop is encouraging area citizens to help
provide cash grants to their local public or private schools by participating in Stop &
Shop?s A+ BonusBucks program for the 2005-2006 academic year.
Stop & Shop's A+ BonusBucks school program runs from October 2, 2005 to April 1, 2006.
The program allows Stop & Shop customers to assist local schools by making purchases
with their Stop & Shop card. Consumers at all Stop & Shop's New Hampshire locations
may designate schools by signing up at their local Stop & Shop stores or online at
www.stopandshop.com/aplus.
Under the program, designated schools receive points for every consumer dollar spent
using the Stop & Shop card. Stop & Shop shoppers will automatically earn points, or
?BonusBucks? which are converted into cash grants for their selected schools whenever
they use their Stop & Shop card.
This is Stop & Shop?s first year running the A+ BonusBucks program. Originally created by
sister company Giant Food in Landover, MD, A+ BonusBucks has given cash grants and
educational equipment valued at over $71 million over the past 16 years.
